Age of AI

 

I just saw the first episode of Age of AI. It was very good to see Robert Downey Jr. after the glorious sacrifice of ironman in Avengers endgame which was played by robert Downey jr. himself. So the video was all about the dawn of a new era with AI. It took us 10000 years for us to move from writing to printing press. Humans are continuously growing. We have started emailing people now. So the basic definition of an AI is the ability of a computer or a robot controlled by a computer to do tasks that are usually done by humans because they require human intelligence and judgement. It will be revolutionary if we create an artificial intelligence wich actually has a conscious. It can cure people, remove crime, eradicate world hunger if we use it for agriculture. Basically if we succeed to make an AI, it can be used to do things which a human being is doing. It is great for an evolutionary perspective but there are multiple problems which will be faced with enhancement of technologies. Social Isolation and Loneliness, Job loss, Low value of human workers, Negative Impact on Students, Weapons and Mass Destruction, Addiction, Degradation of Memory, Dependency on Technology and many more. These problems are yet to be solved for our upcoming future. Let's hope for the best.
